Vow.Foundation claims to be a legitimate cryptocurrency project, but it has strong links to previous Ponzi schemes like The Last Network and VowCurrency.com.
VowCurrency.com had a notorious reputation for scamming investors. The website now redirects to Vow.Foundation, suggesting a direct link between the two. VowCurrency operated as a Ponzi scheme, promising high returns while relying on new investments to pay old investors.
Single.Id is another entity connected to The Last Network and CashbackApp, both of which collapsed. These scams were operated under the UK shell company Enigmatic Smile Ltd and founded by Bish Smeir. Single.id is currently operated by Enigmatic Smile Ltd..
Bish Smeir is listed as one of the project owners on Vow.Foundation. His history includes running multiple collapsed Ponzi schemes, including The Last Network and CashbackApp.
Joerg Wittke, known for promoting BitClub Network, a $722 million Ponzi scheme, also promoted The Last Network, which has now rebranded into Vow.Foundation.
On August 14, 2024, VOW claimed that a “bot” acquired and sold $2 billion worth of VOW tokens in a “market incident.” The so-called technical glitch caused the value of VOW to crash from 33 cents to $0.0028 in under 30 minutes.
"The bot acquired around 20 million VOW tokens from Uniswap and sent them to the contract resulting in nearly v$2 billion being created."
With direct links to collapsed Ponzi schemes, known scammers like Bish Smeir and Joerg Wittke, and a major exit scam in August 2024, Vow.Foundation is a scam. Similarly, Single.Id is another fraudulent scheme connected to past scams.
